Who in the nba are skinny?

right now in the nba,

tayshaun prince

richard hamilton

any one else?

Who in the nba are skinny?nba spurs

Rajon Rondo and Gerald Green on the celtics are both really skinny!

Manute Bol 7 feet 6 inches was really skinny as well but does not play anymore.

Who in the nba are skinny?basketball ,nba teams

what the hell is nba ohhh NVM its like basketball or somein right?
shaq oneal lmao!!!!
Shawn Bradley, the unsung star of Space Jam.
anyone over 6-6 and weighs less than 230lbs
Samuel Dalembert (C), 76ers

Marcus Camby (C), Nuggets

Steve Blake (G), Bucks

Damon Jones (G), Cavaliers

Travis Diener (G), Magic

Steve Novak (F) Rockets

Rudy Gay (F) Grizzlies

Darius Miles (F) Trailblazers
I would say back then, Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Also now it would be Frye, from the NewYork Knicks.
Tyrus Thomas
All of those players are skinny.

To that list, I add Channing Frye, Jared Jeffries and Renaldo Balkman from the Knicks...

From what I know, it's Philadelphia that has the "skinniest" team at 216,76lbs/player and Washington that has the "fattest" team at 235,73lbs/players.

Team average between 223 and 227 lbs/players, but some are a little "lighter", for example Portland (217,6), Milwaukee (218), Dallas, Orlando and Memphis (all 3 at 219, 67)... and some have more fat, like the Jazz (231), the Heat (229) and the Lakers (227,87).

Woman in the nba.?

i want everyones thoughts and opinions on this question. Will a woman ever get draft into the nba even though theres the wnba?

Woman in the nba.?nba sports

there is almost no chance of this happening ever

look at the difference between the 2 best center's in each league today

Dwight Howard 6'11 265 lbs

Lisa Leslie 6'5 170 lbs

At her size she would be forced to play Guard and have to defend the likes of Kobe Bryant, who would destroy her with skill and athleticism, and still has a size advantage to boot

However the WNBA is still always there and at least that's something for female basketball players to aspire to

Woman in the nba.?basketball players ,nba teams

Highly unlikely, there's a WNBA for a reason.
I doubt it.
That is the dumbest question ive heard for a long time the have something called a WNBA That stand for Womens National Basketball Association WOMENS WOMENS
i don't think so not until they change the rules of the wnba they have a shorter 3 point line rim and smaller ball
Thanks. I got a good laugh out of the idea.

That makes as much sense as Michelle Wie making the PGA tourney. Even Wie winning an LPGA tourney!

There are glaringly obvious physical differences between men and women that would make a female NBA player a serious liability for any team.
wnba is there for a reason
No. I don't see that happening being the women have their own basketball league the wnba that is.

MVP's for Spurs this year is Manu Ginobili even above their perennial MVP so far, which is Tim Duncan.

Suns MVP is still Steve Nash although he is and the team are a bit down. Amare is a close second.

Rockets MVP is still Yao Ming, even though he is injured and out for the year. Give it time, the Rockets will miss him and wear down despite their current winning streak.

Involved question, but thanks!

FT% - Free Throw Percent

OFF - Offense

DEF - Defense

TO - Time Outs?

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. I don't recognize alot of those abbreviations, and I played basketball for 5 years. As for the MVP's of Spurs I would definately say Duncan. He's been my favorite for a long time.

Going to the NBA?

I love basketball. I read it, i play it for hours every day, i do programs to help get better. Im only 5'6 and 13 and im only gonna be like 5'11. I think about going pro every day of my life. Im going into 8th grade and i need some advice as to how to become a better player and i need some people just to give their thoughts on what they think of this. It scares me to think of doing a job not related to basketball, and when i read about how you have to be good from an early age (which wasnt the case for me)i get depressed and think oh well, maybe i can be a coach. My greatest fear is not making it to the nba, i put girls aside, and school aside, and all i do is basketball. I wonder, will it be enough?

Going to the NBA?nba all star

Not to shatter a dream, but very, very few make it to the NBA as players. If you have the skills and talent and work at it, perhaps you could be one of the few.

However, I sould suggest that you also take your education very seriously. If the paying thing doesn't work out, perhaps your education could get you a job in the NBA or with a team in come capacity . . . whether it be scout, trainer, broadcasting, facilities, coaching, etc.

Going to the NBA?tickets ,nba teams

WELL BEFORE YOU CAN GET DRAFTED IN THE NBA U HAVE 2 GO TO COLLEGE FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR AND U DO NEED YOUR EDUCATION TO YOU CAN SECCUED JUST IN CASE U GET HURT
WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING POSTING ON YAHOO ANSWERS?? GET THE HECK OUT THERE ON THE COURT AND PRACTICE!!
even the best nba players had a life aside from basketball. they had to go to school, they had a girlfriend. thinking and reading about basketball won't exactly make you better. you've got to practice and practice and practice. you've got believe you can do it. and take it one step at a time. play through high school and then start thinking aboutcollegeball, before you start thinking about the nba. play against guys you know are better then you. play against adults for that matter. if you play against adults or with adults then playing with guys your own age will seem easy. i'd love to play in the nba too someday, it take a ton of practice and disipline.
That's good

stay away with the girls,,

but you need to go college

before you go to NBA.

you say you play Bball for an hour

well thats good,but not enough

i suggest,play 2hours of Bball

and 1hour weight training.

i love basketball also of course

i dream of playing in NBA

but im to small to make it,

thats all i can say

goodluck,

descipline,respect other players

and last hardwork will make you better
remember that less than 1% of the basketball players make it to the pro game, even less makes it to the NBA. you better have a back-up plan along the way (education) and not take that for granted.
If put your eggs all in one basket and that basket develops a hole, all of your opportunities are gone. Even if you become better, make it to college, and are one of the 3% ofcollegeplayers that make it in the NBA, what is it to say that you will not have a career ending injury or be in a car wreck or another accident that would shorten or end your career. It's good to have ambition, but you better have a Plan B to fall back on if it doesn't work out.

One thing to consider about being "good from an early age" is the story of Michael Jordan. He didn't get good until High School and was actually cut from the team.
I wouldnt put school ever aside, you need it to get into the NBA, to get noticed, you would have to go to a basketball school which take smart people. Also, the thing to do is practice
Hate to burst your bubble (I had the same dream) but how many 5' 11" players are in the NBA? Get a good education, investigate what types of careers there are in the front office or as a trainer and focus on that. They all make better than average money and you can be associated with the game you love.
Yeah stay away from girls..but not "too" away if you know what im saying. You gotta get some education man. If you dont make it to the NBA you gotta have a back up career to train for. I take school very seriously. I played sports my whole life. Not many ppl make the NBA. You gotta be good and be fit. Do your best and you'll see.

How to make nba?college

Quit wasting your time on Yahoo and practice, practice, oh yea, practice.

How to make nba?nba odds ,nba teams

they usually draft kids out of high school andcollegebut I guess you could walk on and try to play with the big boys.
try out for the nba... then if u dont make it, try to become on a pro team in europe. during draft times, scouts look at euoprean players,,, so maybe they mite c u and see if u have any talent
Move to the united states, go to acollegehere, playcollegebasketball at your best and you never know, you might get drafted. That's how a lot of NBA stars made it, through college
